SUMMER IS ALMOST HERE

ENGAGEMENT SHOOTS AT LA VUE PHOTOGRAPHIQUE

We are fast approaching the Summer, and for us this means lots of engagement shoots, with our lovely couples due to marry in 2018, and beyond.

At La Vue Photographique, we always offer engagement shoots, or pre-wed shoots as part of our weddings packages. We think it’s really important for you to get to know us better so that you feel as comfortable as possible in front of the camera when it comes to your big day . It’s also a great opportunity to practice some poses, as well as visit a place you both love.

RECENT ENGAGEMENT SHOOTS

So let me tell you a bit more about a couple of different shoots we have done this year, to give you an idea of what is possible. Both were lovely and relaxed, however we used quite different locations and hence different resulting images.

ALEX & KERRY – YORK MUSEUM GARDENS

For Alex & Kerry, they really wanted to have an engagement session which included their daughter, and as they live and work in York, they also wanted an iconic York venue.

We therefore arranged to meet bright and early one Sunday morning at York Museum Gardens.

We had a great time, and managed to fit in some couple shots as well as the family shots that Alex & Kerry wanted. It was such a beautiful day, and all the daffodils were in bloom, so it made for beautiful colourful shots, and made us all feel ready for Summer.

Alex & Kerry are due to marry in November 2018 at the De Grey Rooms, so keep your eye out later this year for a York Wedding, featuring the Minster by Night.

EDWARD & RHIAN – THE BEAUTY OF THE LINCOLNSHIRE WOLDS

With Edward & Rhian, we explored the coutryside a little, and had some fun at the farm!

It was great, exploring the setting, and getting giggles out of Edward & Rhian. We also used the opportunity to scope out locations for photographs on their Wedding day. We’ve got some great ideas of beautiful settings in the local landscape. Watch this space for fields of gold :-)

Edward & Rhian are getting married in July this year, and have a rustic country wedding planned.

GETTING YOU READY FOR PERFECT WEDDING PHOTOS

So as you can tell, engagement shoots don’t have to just be romantic shots of you as a couple. You can use the session as you wish as long as we are all getting to know each other ready for your Wedding day. Dependent on your location choice, we can use the time to agree together on how you want the photography on the day to take place, or we can simply get together and snap some fun photos. It’s up to you.

Whatever you decide, we will have some fun and make memories, ensuring you feel prepared for having beautiful photos taken on your Wedding day.
